About Ajita

An Indian female monk gave me the Sanskrit name of Ajita. It means invincible and unconquerable.

This energy is allowing this studio to be brought up to life. A studio where nurturing women becomes my mission.

How did it started?

In 2017, I moved from the fast-paced city of Lisbon to the calm place of Ribamar, in the World Surfing Reserve. This change deepened my process of self-awareness and revealed to me the importance of stopping and taking care.

My mission started to become clearer, in 2019, in a long walk to Santiago de Compostela.

This was a travel with many emotions coming up to life, where four completely different women were in group but at the same time making the journey alone with their own thoughts and processes.

In the end of each day, I would nurture them with oils and creams that would lighter their legs and calm their minds. I was so grateful to see the effect this had on them, that I decided to start studying massage.

How was the learning journey?

My first course, guided by Maria Cordovil, was a mother and daughter journey, through Ayurveda, discovering the body in a holistic form, using warm oil, our senses and a variety of techniques.

My will to know more about our body's anatomy led me to Traditional Chinese Medicine School where, with the support of Inês Antunes, I was able to practice and integrate Thai Massage, Tui Na, Chi Nei Tsang and also Craniosacral Therapy.

The mother and daughter journey continued afterwards, in Lisbon Institute of Integrated Reflexology, where Sergio De Luiggi guided us in a specific technique based on the feet, hand and head, that allows, with smooth touches, to change old patterns, that were formed even before we were born.

I had the honour to meet an incredible teacher and person, Sebastien Valla, and go deeper on the knowledge of Lomilomi Fusion Massage and Deep Tissue Massage, two therapeutical and relaxing techniques.

More recently, I flew to Bali to study one of the best massages I've ever had the opportunity to receive. Spa Bali International Academy welcomed me and teached me the therapeutic massage techniques of the island of the Gods.

And now what?

Currently, I continue my self-awareness journey as an on-going process and I'm deepening my knowledge as a masseuse, as our body offers infinity signals to communicate with us.

All the learning's I had throughout my life are present in the unique massages I give to you, unique woman!
