About Ajita

An Indian female monk gave me the Sanskrit name of Ajita. It means invincible and unconquerable.

This energy is allowing this studio to be brought up to life. A studio where nurturing women becomes my mission.

How did it start?

In 2017, I moved from the fast-paced city of Lisbon to the calm place of Ribamar, in the World Surfing Reserve. This change deepened my process of self-awareness and self-care.

My mission started to become clearer, in 2019, in a long walk to Santiago de Compostela.

This was a travel with many emotions coming up to life, where four completely different women were in group but at the same time making the journey alone with their own thoughts and processes.

In the end of each day, I would nurture them with oils and creams that would lighter their legs and calm their minds. I was so grateful to see the effect this had on them, that I decided to start studying massage.

How was the learning journey?

For me learning is a never-ending process. Even though it can be challenging it gives my brain and body new ways of expression.

That's the reason why every year I feel the need to update my knowledge to give a massage tailored to you.

My first course, in 2019, was guided by Maria Cordovil. A mother and daughter journey, through Ayurveda, discovering the body in a holistic form. As this medicine is a world, I've then deepened my knowledge in Abhyanga Massage at Centro de Ayuverda, in Lisbon.

My will to know more about our body's anatomy led me to Traditional Chinese Medicine School where I was able to learn Thai Massage, Tui Na, Chi Nei Tsang and also Craniosacral Therapy, with Inês Antunes.

The mother and daughter journey continued afterwards, in Lisbon Institute of Integrated Reflexology, where Sergio De Luiggi guided us in a specific technique based on the feet, hand and head, the Subtle Transformative Therapy.

I had the honor to meet an incredible teacher and person, Sebastien Valla, and study Lomilomi Fusion Massage and Deep Tissue Massage, two therapeutical and relaxing techniques.

In 2024, I flew to Bali to study one of the best massages I've ever had the opportunity to receive. Spa Bali International Academy welcomed me and teached me the therapeutic massage techniques of the island of the Gods.

More recently, I've felt in love with the Equilíbrium Method created by Elaine Brasileiro, a very intelligent, humble physiotherapist and entrepreneur woman who is super knowledgeable about the human body.

And now what?

Currently, I continue my self-awareness journey and I'm deepening my knowledge as a masseuse and also as a therapist in Somatic Experience, as our body offers infinity signals to communicate with us.

My current journey in this field is with Liana Netto, a master on Somatic Experience.

And in 2024 I've deepened the application of Somatic Liberation in Massage with Rafael Santos.

All the learning's that I'm having throughout my life are present in the unique experiences I give to you, unique woman!

Which one are you going to choose?

For you or to offer as a gift to another woman.
